Is there a new banana disease that makes the center soft and black?
Nowadays when i buy bananas, even though they look good from the outside and aren’t over-ripe, the majority are black and soft at the center, the seed part. It can run from end to end or just partially. This never used to happen. Seems like it’s the last 2-3 years. Is there some new banana disease that the sellers don’t want us to know about? I’m tired of having to toss all or part of bananas because they’re gross.
