Is there a way to cross process color negative film?

Hi,

I’ve recently gotten into using a Holga and I’m keen to try cross processing. However, I haven’t been able to find any slide film around where I live, but I have many rolls of color negative (Fujicolor Pro 400H and Kodak 400NC, I think?) ready to be developed. Is it possible to process this film differently and get results close to what I would get cross processing slide film? If you can do that, what process should I request it to go through?

Thanks, all serious answers are appreciated!
Also, in response to the first answerer, I don’t have Photoshop or any other photo editing program, nor do I have any desire to fiddle with them. Sorry!

Get your slide film (process E-6) here http://www.freestylephoto.biz (assuming that you’re in the US).

Then run it through process C-41, which is for color negative. The problem is that you can’t send it any one hour lab (or any local labs) to do this because it contaminates the chemicals.

The best thing to do is do-it-yourself. C-41 is actually not difficult. The hardest part is getting the exposure right using a Holga as color slide films cannot tolerate off-exposure at all–it has to be exact is what I meant.

Here is the page for it (cheapest) http://www.freestylephoto.biz/10123-Unicolor-Powder-C-41-Film-Negative-Processing-Kit-1-Liter?cat_id=1001

Here are instructions http://www.freestylephoto.biz/pdf/Unicolor%20C-41%20Powder%201%20Liter.pdf

By the way, if you want to get slide films from them, here is the link http://www.freestylephoto.biz/c1302-Color-Slide-Film-120-and-220-size
