
Where can I take intermediate Photography classes in the San Francisco Bay Area?
I am a graphic designer and took a basic photography class in school. After that I am going at it on my own but there is so much more to learn like lighting, pro gear, other formats, studio work, working with models, compositions and knowing the aesthetics of a what is considered a great shot. Most colleges and universities only offer introductory classes or entire programs that require a formal application. I just want to find an open enrollment sort of deal short of actual apprenticeships. And although I should just go out there and just shoot, my work is offering to pay for my job-related classes… Photoshop and Flash classes are so boring.
Try your local community college .. they usually have follow-on courses to the Photography and Graphics Art series …
